Freedom Walk
Booker T. Washington walked 500 miles from Malden WV to Hampton Institute to get an education. He knew education was vitally important to his freedom and the freedom of others. Join us in the Freedom Walk so we can provide scholarships to help others gain an education. All donated and pledged proceeds from this event will benefit the Friends of Booker T Washington Scholarship Program. Your individual contributions will help build the Friends of Booker T. Washington National Monument Scholarship Fund that awards scholarships to 2 qualifying seniors at Franklin County High School.
